Congratulations to Tariq Brown for being awarded a 3 year NIAAA F31 NRSA entitled "Alcohol-Induced Alternative Splicing in Drosophila Memory Circuits"! Tariq is investigating how alcohol-induced alternative splicing of the Drosophila Dopamine-2-like Receptor (Dop2R) affects the function of mushroom body circuits and consequent response to reward and memory formation.
