The Kaun Lab is seeking new Brown University undergraduate students interested in being part of our team!
Projects involve learning about the neural and molecular mechanisms of addiction and memory using a Drosophila model.
Students will be mentored by Dr. Kaun and one of the members of the Kaun Lab. They will learn techniques involving behavioral neuroscience, genetics, molecular biology, biochemistry, microscopy, or bioinformatics. They will also learn experimental design and implementation, scientific reasoning, scientific communication, and teamwork skills. Starting commitments of 6-10 hours a week are recommended.
If you are interested in being part of our team, please book an appointment with Dr. Kaun to chat about the opportunity to get involved. Please email Dr. Kaun a current CV/resume in advance of the meeting you book.
