Welcome Nandashree!

Welcome to the lab new Postdoctoral Associate Dr. Nandashree Kasturacharya! Nandashree recently completed her Ph.D. working with Dr. Gaiti Hasan at the National Center for Biological Sciences Tata Institute of Fundamental Research in Bangalore, where she worked on the molecular mechanisms of calcium signaling in the context of neuronal development and function. She is starting off in the lab tested whether Notch-activity required for memory formation is dependent on neuronal activity, and identifying how changes in neuronal activity alter Notch/Su(H) gene targets.
